We're celebrating 10 years of business by giving the gift of a brand new website to the local charity, MS Society Bailiwick of Guernsey.
We first announced our collaboration with the MS Society in November and have since completed the discovery phase of the project with final designs and development well underway!
Let's get you caught up on what we’ve been up to…
After receiving the brief from our client, we were able to get stuck into the discovery phase of the project. This consisted of an in-depth analysis of the organisation, the brand, and tone of voice. We’ve built strong relationships with key committee members and professionals within the field, and have been busy carrying out competitor and keyword research. All of this has helped us to identify the MS Society’s core users and create a solid content strategy.
Committee members Linda and Gill joined us at our Guernsey studio to review everything that came out of the discovery phase including the proposed structure for the new MS Society website.
Ahead of Christmas, we had the opportunity to test our recommended approach, confirm our findings and verify that the site’s content structure was on point by conducting a feedback session with a group of local MS Society members at a coffee afternoon at Les Cotils. Here, we were able to deliver some of the initial designs based on our findings and ask four open-ended questions:
- What do you think is good about the website designs?
- What do you think is bad about the website designs?
- Is there anything you would change on the website designs?
- Is anything missing from the website designs?
With the help of Guernsey's MS Society members, we've been able to identify what information is important to users and what really matters to them from a local point of view, which we have subsequently used to support the priority and hierarchy of content, making this information easily accessible to anyone visiting the new website.
Our aim throughout this project has been to make it a community effort, with the goal to create a website that supports people living with multiple sclerosis, family, friends, and carers by offering specific, localised content that is relevant to anyone living in Guernsey, Alderney, Herm, or Sark.
The website will continue to be closely associated with MS Society UK, tying in with their expertise and latest research.
We are now fast approaching development, and will soon be releasing a sneak peek of the brand new MS Society Guernsey website designs over the coming weeks, so be sure to follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram!
