As a web developer at Indulge you will get the opportunity to work on an enormous range of projects, ranging from simple one pager websites through to huge, multi-faceted projects as part of a much larger team.

This is a full time position that will be based in either our Guernsey or Oxford studios.
Key Responsibilities

Development of responsive HTML and CSS templates

Configuration and build of CMS platforms (for example Drupal or Wordpress)

Development of JavaScript interfaces and applications

Design & Development website and web application architecture

Setup, management and support of domain names and web hosting

Supporting and evolving our client websites on an ongoing basis

Dedication of time to personal ‘Research & Development’

Help update and advance company code-libraries, processes, and best-practices

Accurate maintenance of timesheets

Contribution to Indulge Media blog
Requirements
-
Ability to write fast, clean code
-
Proficient with responsive web UI development
-
Proficient with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP & MySQL
-
Ability to self motivate and work autonomously on projects, asking relevant questions & escalating when necessary
-
Able to manage time effectively and work to a deadline
-
Ability to work directly with clients, understand their needs and communicate effectively
-
Fast learner, able to adapt to changing technologies, and gain new skills as required
-
Familiar with web based content management

Familiar with web standards

Familiar with basic SEO techniques

GIT experience preferred
-
Drupal and/or Wordpress skills preferred
