A Sensible is a weird little creature that looks quite cute... for something resembling your liver...
Sensibles are the focus of an integrated marketing campaign launched by Spring Valley. The campaign combines a strong sense of humor and a memorable character and the ads (viewable on youtube) feature the Sensible as a CG-character interacting with live actors. The humor and eye-candy are are nice features for a campaign, but most people have seen this stuff before.
So what's new?
This particular campaign really stands out because of the 'Save Your Sensible' flash website. There are lots of flash websites but there's something special about this one...
It begins with a brief origin story complete with a big-bang, adam'n'eve, and mexican themed liquor. That's just an intro before you get to the really clever bit.
The really clever bit, the bit that really 'Stands Out', is an interactive experience with a 3D character using cutting-edge flash-technology.
Stand out with 3D
You may think that you've seen 3d on the web before, but the chances are it was was fake 3D - i.e. a 2D video of 3D content. You've probably seen a lot of 3D 'CGI' in movies, and although it was real 3D at some point in it's life, when you view it on the screen it's 2D again. Real 3D content is something that you need to experience. In the past it's mostly been limited computer games, but now this sort of experience is venturing out into the world wide web.
