About the Position
With our growing client portfolio and production workload across Guernsey, the UK and further afield, we are looking to expand our team with a full time, experienced web developer.
At Indulge, we provide digital services for clients in professional services, education and government. We are an ISO 9001:2015 accredited firm and so as a developer at Indulge you will get to work on a range of challenging, industrial grade, mission critical projects.
We are looking for someone who can join our team and hit the ground running, so professional development experience is paramount.
The position will provide an excellent growth opportunity to the right individual who will be part of a great team of passionate, talented and motivated co-workers.
We are happy for you to be based anywhere in the Channel Islands, UK or EU, though our preference would be either the Channel Islands or Oxford so that you can work alongside the team in one of our studios.
Key Skills and Experience
- Minimum 3 years experience as a professional web developer, specialising in either front end, back end or both
- Experience of working as part of a team of designers and developers with source control, structured deployment and in depth testing procedures
- Ability to self motivate and work autonomously on projects, staying organised, asking relevant questions & escalating when necessary
- Ability to manage time effectively and work to a deadline
- Ability to work directly with clients, understand their needs and communicate effectively
Preferred Technology Experience
Experience in the following technologies would be preferred, however we appreciate that as a developer you are learning all the time and so we would be happy to provide the support and training required to develop your skills:
- PHP / MySQL
- Drupal
- Laravel
- Responsive HTML / CSS
- SASS
- GIT
- Javascript, primarily jQuery
