Indulge Media are honoured to present their latest piece of work. A web design and build job for one of Guernsey's best writers, Yvonne Ozanne. Yvonne is author of three books; Love Apple Island, Love Apples Too and her new book, Vivienne on Guernsey Blue.
Yvonne has been writing since she left school at sixteen and became a typist at the Guernsey Press. Yvonne now writes an acclaimed column for the Guernsey Press newspaper and has been commended for her first two books. Yvonne is now preparing to publish her first novel, Vivienne on Guernsey Blue.
Yvonne Ozanne came to Indulge Media and asked us to design a website that would help her to promote her new novel as well as act as an area for her to write blog entries and articles. With this in mind, the Indulge Guernsey web design team wanted to create a look and feel to the site that was both functional and quirky.
The design of the website is second to none and uses torn paper effects and handwritten-style font to create the look and feel of a website that is fit for one of Guernsey's most celebrated writers.
The complex design of the site presented some challenges for the Indulge Guernsey's web development team who were tasked with the job of creating a fully content manageable website which Yvonne Ozanne can log into and write new blog entries or change content.
The website also incorporates multimedia technologies, most notable of which is a video which is embedded into the core design of the website, fitting comfortably on the homepage without detracting from the overall brand of the website.
The overall result is an acheivment that we at Indulge Media are very proud of and we are pleased to present this web design and development as a celebration of the writing work of Yvonne Ozanne.
