Our conversations have seen us sit down (virtually) with guests from the Channel Islands, New York, Greece, Argentina and all across the UK.
The latest episode
Episode 20 sees us speaking with Will Rainey, author of a new book; Grandpa's Fortune Fables. Will, who spent the best part of two decades working as an investment consultant to some of the biggest institutions in the world has now turned his attention to providing financial education.
His new book aims to educate people on finance by first teaching kids followed by having the benefit of educating the adults reading alongside them.
The financial education gap is only going to become a bigger issue as good financial habits are moving from being a benefit to being a requirement as people live longer and spend more time in retirement.
The podcast series so far
In its run of 20 episodes so far, the podcast series has provided insights across a wide range of topics. Here are some of the highlights.
In July 2020, Peter Ramsey joined us to talk about his immensely popular study into the UX of fintech banks, pitching fintechs against traditional banking providers. His findings showed a huge gulf in how user-friendly challenger brands are in comparison to the traditional banking giants.
In September 2020 we sat down with Jasper Martens, CMO at the ever-growing PensionBee to talk about product development and how the firm is working to solve the 'nightmare' of managing multiple pension pots. One way in which the firm is working to help customers is to reposition pensions away from confusing concepts and towards thinking of it as a long term savings pot.
Recently, Bence Jendruszák of SEON told us about how he ran a successful content marketing program that used smart blog posts to help grow his firm. The company is now the successful recipient of a recent $12m Series A funding round.
