We’re proud to announce that Indulge has been selected to work on a groundbreaking accessibility project with The Arc, one of the largest disability non-profits in the United States. In partnership with The Arc and funded by a major San Francisco-based tech firm, we’re co-designing a cognitive learning solution to make digital content easier to understand.
This initial 10-week pilot project combines inclusive UX design, rapid prototyping using AI translation technology, and four weeks of real-world user testing with people across the intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) spectrum.
We’ve already completed ideation and solutioning sessions with both the client and people with cognitive learning disabilities to deeply understand their needs. From these initial insights, we’ve defined a solution for an assistive tool, currently called Clario, which simplifies digital content and empowers people with cognitive disabilities by presenting online information in clearer, more accessible formats tailored to individual needs.
This work has the potential to transform how people with IDD—and anyone who benefits from simplified content—interact with the web by adapting information to meet their unique requirements.
When we provide clarity and simplicity, we empower individuals to access vital information, participate in their communities, and live more independently.
