Alastair graduated with a First Class degree in Mathematics in 2009, having won a scholarship to study at the University of Southampton.  He has since worked across the entire spectrum of digital, having first had a career as a Management Consultant in London, where he advised some of the world's biggest companies on digital strategy, before returning to his true love of hands-on coding, programming and development.

Always making sure things are done the right way, Alastair spends a lot of his spare time keeping up with new developments in the industry.  Most notably, he has passed Harvard University's famous CS50 Introduction to Computer Science degree course module as a remote student.

Alastair lives in Béziers in the South of France but has close family ties to Guernsey.  He can usually be found doing DIY, exploring the mountains and coastline, and improving his French!
